About Our School

Our competency-based microschool moves away from grade levels and seat time, instead measuring progress by mastery of skills and concepts. Students advance when they demonstrate competency, not based on calendar time. This approach honors different learning speeds while maintaining high standards. Students develop agency in their learning, understanding exactly what they need to master and receiving feedback that guides continued growth. This model works powerfully for both accelerated and students needing additional time.
