About Our School

Our engineering-focused microschool develops both technical competence and the soft skills essential for collaborative innovation. Through design challenges, building projects, and troubleshooting activities, students learn engineering thinking and problem-solving processes. Students work individually and in teams, learning to communicate ideas, incorporate feedback, and iterate on solutions. This approach develops resilience, creativity, and the confidence to pursue technical fields.

Educational Philosophy: We recognize that students come to school with different experiences, knowledge, and needs. Our instruction is differentiated to meet students where they are while maintaining high expectations for all. We celebrate that students learn in different ways and at different paces—our flexible approaches honor this diversity.

Meet Your Teacher

Erich S.
Erich S.

I've been passionate about education for over a decade, working with students of all ages in various learning environments. I believe that every child has unique gifts and learning styles, and my goal is to create a classroom where each student feels seen, heard, and challenged. I love incorporating hands-on projects, outdoor learning, and real-world connections into my teaching. When I'm not teaching, you can find me hiking, reading, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
